I want to congratulate Jack Walters, who resigned, March 10, 2003, his Chairmanship of the Boone County, Missouri, Republican Party, for his extremely accurate analysis of the Bush fanatical effort to start a war with Iraq, and no doubt other wars. Hopefully, there are other responsible people in the Republican Party who will wake up and realize that Mr. Bush has a mental problem.
I received Mr. Walters' message in my email this morning. This is a very significant news item and I want to focus special attention on Mr. Walters' analysis and action, which needs to be quickly replicated by Republicans nationwide before it is too late. Obviously, there are a large number of Republicans who are beginning to realize that Mr. Bush has a mental problem. Apparently, Mr. Bush is having delusions and believes that God is telling him to start a war against Iraq killing Iraqis and American Military personnel, which is similar to Osama bin Laden's God delusion. Delusions about God may be one of the reasons why we have a huge number of religious hypocrites. Another reason may be because many preachers unintentionally give the impression that anything a person does is all right with God provided that they pray and ask God's forgiveness. Hypocrites develop the belief that they can repeat their wrong doings over and over then ask God's forgiveness each time, then they are saved from their sins. Generally, most people only do things that they can justify in their minds, and this may be a factor in the mentality of serial murderers. Harken Oil Corporation's lawyers advised that due to the impending announcement of the Harken's $25,000,000 loss, a stock sale by its officers and directors would be in violation of Federal insider trading laws. This type God forgiveness mentality may be the reason that after the lawyers' advice, Mr. Bush sold most of his Harken stock for an illegal amount of $572,000 above what he would have received had he sold after the announcement. Peculiarly, the SEC started investigating Mr. Bush's stock sale but abruptly terminated the investigation, all of which occurred while Poppa Bush was president. This type God forgiveness mentality may be the reason that while Mr. Bush was governor of Texas, he furnished $150 million dollars of taxpayer's money to build a stadium for the Texas Rangers ball club. Peculiarly, Mr. Bush had previously invested $500,000 of the Harken illegal stock sale in the Texas Rangers corporation stock. The Texas Rangers was sold soon after building the stadium. And, Mr. Bush received approximately $15 million dollars despite the fact that his calculated share of the proceeds was about $1.8 million dollars. This type God forgiveness mentality may be the reason that, peculiarly, despite all of the terrorist briefings provided to Mr. Bush, he chose to teach a kindergarten class in Florida on the very day that the White House was one of the terrorist targets on 9/11. The President of the United States has nothing more important to do than teach a kindergarten class??????? Clearly, there are better ways to eliminate the danger posed by Saddam Hussein. A war with Iraq would likely kill more Americans than the 9/11 terrorist attack plus magnifying the terrorist hatred and risk for Americans, plus eventually costing one trillion unnecessary tax dollars. One way would be for the UN to declare Saddam Hussein a war criminal, or reasonable facsimile, and prosecute him in the world court for his crimes and his plotting or conspiracy to commit crimes against humanity. If he refused to appear in court and could not be brought into court, he should be tried in absentia. If he is found guilty, he should be sentenced to life in prison for his crimes and death if he does not surrender for incarceration and a reward offered for his capture dead or alive. This would set a new precedence for the UN and a warning for other would be warmongers and country rulers who commit murder and other heinous crimes against their own people. Plus, as well as conspire or plot to start wars or terrorist attacks and murder against other countries and other people of different beliefs regarding religion. An invasion against another country is in reality a murder conspiracy against the people who would be killed during the war including people, both military and civilians, who would be killed on both sides. Containment as we did against the Soviet Union would be less effective but would be one thousand per cent better than starting a war against Iraq. However, an embargo against the people in any country is almost as bad as invading a country and starting a war, and should never be used. An embargo starves and kills people, and has no effect against any ruthless murderer who becomes the ruler of any country. Whenever a ruthless killer takes over and becomes the ruler of any country, most likely he has murdered lots of people and will continue murdering anyone who disagrees with his rule. This type person should be prosecuted in the world court and sentenced to life in prison or death if he or she does not surrender for imprisonment. The world court conviction should authorize bombing of the convicted rulers' whereabouts or assassination in the event that the convicted ruler does not surrender for imprisonment. These proposals could virtually eliminate wars in the future if the UN would amend their charter and include these type proposals. These proposals would have to be strictly enforced in order to be effective. America and all other countries would be far better off if Mr. Bush would switch to these proposals and try to get the UN charter amended likewise. He could prevent his impending loss of a large number of American military lives and Iraqi lives as well as the unnecessary cost to America taxpayers of billions and possibly one trillion dollars for his warmonger obsession with Iraq. War with Iraq is not the only way to rid us of the risk Saddam poses, but it is the worst way to prevent the Saddam risk. Besides, if Mr. Bush believes that God will forgive him for causing the huge number of deaths that would happen in his war against Iraq, I think he is barking at the moon. Self defense yes, invasion no. All of the above analyses were based on various news reports, documentations, statements, personal experience, and beliefs. If you believe that we should avoid this Bush war, make sure you inform your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senators. Send them a copy of this editorial and a copy of Mr. Walters statement.
