One Solution To
Arab Muslin Hatred Of America
Editorial by Jeff Goolsby, Editor
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."
After observing the news and TV pictures, there are several causes of the Arab hatred of America. It is clearly obvious that most Arabs live in extreme poverty. Poverty is always a breeding ground for violence. This potential for violence is made much worse when you have religious hypocrites like Osama bin Laden, who is a serial killer and mass murderer. He is also an extremely skilled con artist.
Osama bin Laden can and does hypnotize people into believing that by committing mass murder and committing suicide, they are going to heaven. And I understand that he is promising each one of his victimized flock that they will receive 50 virgins for wives in their heavenly paradise.
If our faith is correct and if there is a hell after death, Osama bin Laden is giving his satanic infidel followers a one-way ticket to the worst place in hell instead of his promised gloryland.
The terrorist leaders have obviously warped the minds of millions of impoverished Arab Muslims by twisting their religion and making their extreme poverty considerably worse. One of the solutions to counter the actions of the terrorist hypocrites is for successful sane minded Arab Muslims in the United States who have not been infected with the terrorist hypocrisy, to loudly send word back to the Arab communities from which they came that following the Terrorist hypocrites is further devastating their lives instead of improving the lives of Arabs.
It is clear that the Arab countries have a super rich and super poor society, which can be changed into a society where most of the people can become prosperous middle class wage earners and entreprenuers.
Some good may come from the Osama bin Laden type terrorist activities. Their activities have focused attention on the fact that most Arabs live in devastating poverty. We had a somewhat similar situation in the United States prior to the Republican Hoover Great Depression.
The Hoover depression was so severe that it broke the Republican stranglehold in Washington, D.C. In 1932, Democrats gained control of the Presidency and both houses of Congress with a large majority in both houses as a result of the severity of the Hoover Depression. The Unions and Democrats created the Middle Class income for wage earners in the United States and Canada, and later in Europe.
Plus, Governor Ellis Arnold of Georgia was instrumental in making the final winning of the Freight Rate War (usually called Civil War) by persuading the U.S. Congress to repeal the Federal law that required doubled freight rates for everything manufactured in the South and shipped to the North. Prior to Governor Ellis Arnold's successful effort, anything built in the North and shipped to the South that cost one dollar for shipping charges would cost two dollars to ship the same item North if it was manufactured in the South. This was a Republican Greed Law and was the flim-flam that caused the Freight Rate Civil War. Freeing the slaves was the emotional issue which was added because they knew that they could not hope to win a war if the Northern public actually knew that they were fighting for malicious greed.
These changes that occurred as a direct result of the Hoover Depression is what caused the United States to become a super prosperous nation. Similar changes can happen in other countries, which hopefully will occur as a direct result of the disastrous actions of Osama bin Laden and his fellow terrorist leaders.
We as a prosperous leader country need to teach the people in impoverished countries how to bring themselves out of severe poverty and starvation.
If we send them food, we feed a few of them for a day. If we teach them how to reorganize their laws to develop their own prosperity, we will feed virtually all of them for a lifetime. Our current charity efforts of sending food, medicine, and clothing to a few impoverished people in other countries instead of teaching them how to become prosperous is part of the problem causing the terrorist mentality.
We need to teach them our democratic principles and teach them how to organize unions to develop wages that can purchase more goods from the people and companies that manufacture the goods that are needed. This will increase the prosperity for the people who manufacture the goods and sell goods while at the same time increasing the prosperity and better living conditions for the workers.
If the public at large in these impoverished countries become prosperous, they will not tolerate terrorist in their countries because they will realize that the terrorist would wreck their prosperity. These suggested changes would eliminate the terrorist problem world wide.
One of the problems that would need to be foreseen and guarded against is the fact that sometimes union efforts become misguided and destroy the company that employs their union members. This has happened numerous times in the United States, which means that union strikes should be handled in a different way.
Union officials should become members of the board of directors of companies that employ their members. A strike law should be enacted to change the strike system. The union officials should make sure that their demands can be met by the employers and make sure that they do not demand more than is possible and economically feasible. When a strike becomes official, instead of the workers quit working, the following should happen:
The striking employees should continue working to avoid damaging the public, causing their employer to lose market position, and wrecking the employee's finances. The employer should be required to pay all of their net profit into Federal and State taxes during the strike. The employees should only receive 75% of their pre-strike pay during the strike. This would provide a strong incentive for both sides of the issue to settle the strike quickly and get back to normal conditions. This would allow the employer to maintain their market position, avoid occasional bankruptcies, avoid sever disruptions of the American economy, and avoid financial devastation for the employees.
Recent history has shown that countries with prosperous citizens do not start wars, but will fight fiercely to protect their prosperous living standards. Wars are caused by warped extremist who can hoodwink impoverished citizens into helping fight the wars. Our number one National Defense strategy should be to help these impoverished countries develop prosperous citizens. This would also provide more customers for our exports, which would create more employment for us.
