What, Me A Radical?
                   By Jeff Goolsby, Editor

The Republican definition of a radical is anyone who examines, exposes, points out, and focuses attention on Republican scams or abuse to the public by Republicans is a Radical, and with that definition, I plead double guilty to that charge.
Republican brainwashing in years gone by was carefully concealed.  However, since George W. Bush obtained the presidency by appointment by a Republican U.S. Supreme Court despite the fact that more people voted for Al Gore in Florida as was proven by the unofficial full count of all discernable votes, Republicans have become more open with their formerly hidden plans.
The fact that Mr. Bush has caused considerable damage to the American public and most Americans do not appear to understand the damage he has caused,  Bush's popularity went from very low to a very high percentage, which has caused Republicans to believe that they no longer need to conceal their true objectives.
George Meany, former president of AFL-CIO, said that "Republicans believe that Americans are too stupid to know when they are being taken".  Republicans now believe that Americans are even more stupid than they first thought based on the way Bush has been getting away with extremely visible con artistry scams.
The Republican expanded control of the news media along with filling the airwaves with Republican radio brainwashing talk show host has played a huge part in their brainwashing success.  David Brock wrote a book in which he admitted to the fact that he was one of the main fabricators of lies and against President Clinton.  This revelation did not appear to have any effect on the success of Republican efforts to eliminate most of the benefits created by Democrats since 1932.
Neal Boortz, a popular Republican radio talk show Brainwasher, said that Republicans are smarter than Democrats.  This may explain why a huge number of Democrats erroneously say that the Republican radio talk show hosts provide good accurate information.  These Democrats have failed to examine the full facts and do not realize that the Republican talk show brainwashers have left out the most important key facts.  These Democrats become "DD"s, Duped Democrats, and they vote Republican without realizing that they are voting away benefits that they take for granted and heavily depend upon.
Democrats who continue to be DD's and vote Republican, obviously do not analyze the results of sweet promises by Republican politicians, never realize that their sweet promises always deliver bitter results, and almost never deliver the results they promise.  Plus Republicans always blame Democrats for the depressions that always occur as result of being skillfully planned and executed by Republicans when a Republican is president.
Republican promises always sound better that Democratic promises sound, but their results are always just the opposite.  Con artist always sound better than honest people sound, that is how they succeed at duping people into believing their scams.  I know, I have been duped by con artists many times, and I have developed considerable skill at detecting con artist schemes.
A major part of the Republican plan to eliminate Democratic benefits is to raise the Federal debt so high that the interest cost on the Federal debt will eliminate money for the Democratic benefits.  The Republican tax cut for the "Fat Cats" drunken spree is rapidly making interest cost on the Federal debt the largest expense in our Federal budget.  The interest on the Federal debt for 2002 was $333 Billion dollars, approximately the same as the national defense expense as well as Social Security.
The method to increase the Federal debt to that point is to cut taxes, mostly for Republican "Fat Cats", and increase spending on things other than Democratic benefits. Bush cut $14 billion from the Veterans Administration 2004 budget, which will devastate Veterans' benefits.  Bush's military groupies will not realize that they were stabbed in the back until they retire.  Bush is also cutting funding for programs he proposed, such as "No Child Left Behind", "Homeland Security", etc.
Most people have not yet realized that every Republican president since the Federal Reserve Board was established in 1913 has given us at least one depression, an economic downturn exceeding 6 months duration, during their time in office.  This is one of the Republican hidden scams they use including different tactics each time in order to fool the public.  Much of the time they shut down housing construction and automobile manufacturing by increasing interest rates and reducing the money supply for purchase loans.
Two things created this current depression.  1.  The Republican Congress in 1998, by repealing the Federal law that prohibited monopolistic corporation mergers and acquisitions, and  2.  Bush's refusal to place military guards on commercial airline flights after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The military guards would have prevented the fear of flying and would have prevented the loss of more than one million airline and related industry jobs, plus placing the airline companies in a bankrupt position.  Instead Bush deliberately chose to allow fear to devastate the airlines and it was 14 months before the first Air Marshall was trained and placed on airline flights to guard against terrorist.
There were several ways that the merger spree, created by the 1998 Republican Congress, caused economic disaster for so many people, 401K disasters, and many bankruptcies.  Mergers nearly always create considerable job losses due to some job duplications plus job terminations due to the new people controlling the acquired company not knowing how to operate the newly acquired company.
This merger and acquisitions opportunity caused dishonest public corporation officials to issue false income statements causing artificial stock prices, to raise money for new mergers and acquisitions.  The false income statements also provided the executives an opportunity to rip off stockholders by giving themselves huge unearned incomes and bonuses.
The merger spree combined with the excess expectations from the Internet opportunities caused the stock market to crash, which devastated stockholders and 401K retirement investors.  Bush kept interest rates extremely low, to prevented a Hoover type depression, with a plan to revive the economy in time for the 2004 presidential election.  Bush Sr. used a similar plan while he was president but he was not a skilled con artist and was not able to create consumer confidence, which was a necessary ingredient for housing and automobiles to restore the economy from the second Reagan/Bush depression.
Either Bush does not actually understand that his tax cut for his "Fat Cat" cronies will not bring the economy out of his depression, or he will use other actions on the QT so he can falsely claim that the tax cuts did the job of restoring his depression.  If Bush claims that President Kennedy restored the economy from the second Eisenhower depression with a tax cut, it will be a lie.  President Kennedy restored the economy by restoring the housing industry by reducing interest rates and increasing the supply of lendable money.  Kennedy also cut taxes but it had very little effect on the economy.
The fact that Bush has todate prevented an investigation of what he knew about Osama bin Laden's terrorist plans before 9/11, the fact that Bush was in Florida teaching (???) a kindergarten class the same day that the White House was an apparent target, the fact that he started a war and invaded a country that had never made any effort to harm the United States, which is becoming extremely apparent that he lied about his reasons for invading Iraq, killing thousands of Iraqis and more than 200 American troops todate.
There are lots of countries being ruled by dictators who obtained and maintain their position by killing people.  I hope Bush does not try to kill all of the other dictators.
These are a few of the facts about which I point out and focus attention, which causes Republicans to call me a radical. This is a compliment and we need more Democratic radicals.
